Our Mission is simple... Support the RTs in Georgia by providing the support and education they need to perform the job well. This includes RT educators, beside therapist, industry representatives, and RTs serving in non-traditional roles.
The GSRC was established in 1967 by a group of passionate RTs. Throughout the years the organization changed and continues to thrive. In 2021, we moved to volunteer-based module to engage the membership. The transition allowed us to diversify the leadership and knowledge base to be better serve our membership!
As a GSRC member, you are welcome to join us for BOD meetings. In addition, you have access to the meeting minutes and financial reports. To view this member content, go to the AARC website. Select "AARConnect", select " All Communities" then search "Georgia Society" and join. Reports are posted in the library.
Want to get more involved in AARC? Check out the new Volunteer Module in AARConnect! This tool offers a way to contribute and make a meaningful impact. Whether your passion lies in advocacy, education, or networking, there's a place for you to shine as a valued volunteer.
AARC has a Disaster Relief Fund: Our nonprofit organization is committed to improving the lives of those RTs in need through financial help after a natural disaster. The GSRC donates to this fund as an organization. In 2023, many GSRC members received aid after Hurricane Idalia. Learn how to donate or apply for funds
