GSRC partners with the AARC to Support HOSA

HoSA

HOSA–Future Health Professionals is an international student organization with a mission to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry and enhance the delivery of quality health care. For many high school students, HOSA provides their first opportunity to explore healthcare careers and develop leadership skills.

The Georgia Society for Respiratory Care (GSRC) proudly supports the mission of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) by working to increase awareness of the respiratory therapy profession among high school students. One of the ways we do this is through strong engagement with HOSA.

GSRC BOD members—including respiratory therapy faculty and hospital professionals—have attended and supported numerous HOSA events. These efforts help introduce students to the vital role respiratory therapists play in patient care and inspire the next generation of healthcare providers.

We encourage respiratory therapists across Georgia to get connected with HOSA chapters in their area. Your involvement can make a lasting impact by mentoring students, showcasing career pathways, and ensuring our profession continues to grow with passionate and skilled future practitioners.

AARC Support

Respiratory Therapy needs YOU! One of the best ways to inspire the next generation is by connecting with HOSA–Future Health Professionals in your local area.

If you’re not sure where to start, check out the AARC website for helpful resources and ideas. Together, we can grow our profession and ensure more students see Respiratory Therapy as their future.
